It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that babies are the new handbag, Bugaboo’s are the new SUV, and GREEN is the new black. Organics use to be just for hippies who wore entirely too much pechuli and lived in their Birckenstocks, but not anymore. Going green is everywhere from our food to our handbags. While organic foods can be a bit pricey other organic products are fairly priced. I’m not saying that organics are better than non-organic products on the market, but if you want your tot to be Eco-friendly and in the know with the likes of the Jolie-Pitt clan than let me introduce you to some of my favorite lines that love Mother Earth.
Hands down my new favorite organic clothing for kids is Kate Quinn Organics. The clothes are soooooo soft and the colors are fantastic! I never really gravitated towards organic clothing because it all use to be the color of oatmeal and it looked so sad. KQO is the exact opposite. She uses bright colors and has great modern designs like her rollover yoga pants and super cozy sleep sacks. KQO has successfully combined high style and quality into earth friendly apparel. I am a HUGE fan and once you see this line you will be too!
Another fabulous find that moms and dads everywhere should have are Baby Legs. They are not specifically organic, but do offer many organic styles. Basically, someone came up with the idea that the oh-so-chic leg warmer of the 80’s is actually a very practical layering option for infants and toddlers. They come is countless designs and colors and can be worn on arms or legs. They are great for easy diaper changes and make potty training just a little easier.
I don’t have a favorite organic shoes line yet, but I’ll will keep looking. Baby feet are so darn cute anyway way why cover them up? So go with the most organic line of them all and let them play barefoot in the park.
